Thank you Paula - After your knitting with the dolls over Christmas I dug out my old Jean Greenhowe books and knitted Fergus his Bagpipes! The last time I knitted them was in 1992! Where does the time go! and I wonder where all those knitted creatures are now - I must have knitted nearly everything that Jean produced for my children and friends - in the end they all went to local charities etc.
Thanks for the inspiration in finding the books again!
Hope you are warm in Kent too its was -6 here in Lymington this morning. Sun need!!

Re: FERGUS a HIGHLAND PIPER BEAR by Lynette
The Jean Greenhowe books are great aren't they! I'm looking for an excuse to knit another traditional dolly soon ... I've been busy making bear scarfs lately and can't wait to get back to the dollies!
It's absolutely freezing here in Kent today Lynette, so I don't think I'm any warmer than you are in Hampshire unfortunately! There was a really heavy frost last night ... the trees looked very pretty this morning!

Well done, he's a beaut and has such a lovely face. More Jean Greeenhowe fans here then, knits and bears always seem to work really well together dont they?
