Re: Getting into gear for Hugglets
With his chocolate and white fur and colourful wooden beads he takes me back to sitting in a mountain cafe on a snowy mountain in France drinking chocolat chantille. He's lovely (and his nose is superb).

Re: Getting into gear for Hugglets
Thanks Jean! I'm glad you like him.
I think if I had a week away from the forum I'd almost lose my 'voice' completely! I remember the days when the phone used to ring non-stop, but these days everyone keeps in touch on the computer instead - even family half the time! So I reckon I could almost go a week without hearing the sound of my own voice (except when my lot are home in the evenings) ... er, that is unless you count me talking to my cats! Maybe I should send for the men in white coats?!

He's GORGEOUS Paula
Wish I could be there to see him 'in the fur' but it's just too close to essay deadlines!!!
I'm sure he'll be snapped up really quickly

Thanks Janice! I'm intrigued to know what you are studying - is it fun being a student again?

Re: Getting into gear for Hugglets
Hi Paula,
I'm studying a law degree at my local uni and have finally reached my last year
It's been great being a student, really wish I'd done it years ago!! It has been hard work though and as much as I've enjoyed it I must admit I'm looking forward to having some time back to myself again and not having my head constantly stuck in a book This last year has been quite difficult as there is a greater emphasis on self study so between studying, working part time and being a single mum my bear making has suffered quite a bit
I'm also 'hoarding' bears just now (10 so far) in preparation for my first 2 bear events this year.....they're still MONTHS away (Teddy Bear Artist Event in June and Hugglets in September) but I know I'm going to be a nervous wreck nearer the time so want to prepare myself as much as I possibly can
So free time, as such. is non existent just now but hopefully it'll all be worth it in the end
Hugs
Janice

Re: Getting into gear for Hugglets
I'm really impressed Janice! There have been many times in the past when I've thought about further study, but have been put off at the thought of 'going back to school' with students the age of my kids! Well done you for taking the bull by the horns and getting on with it!!
