Thank you so much girls.............I do think my ensemble could have done with a better grooming???? I hate taking pics, I get all stressed and I never get it right, looking at Paulas picture of Frost Frostina makes me feel very jealous, they are always beautiful bears but also your pictures are perfect

Very nice Sue, I think she is darling. I'm amazed that you gals can turn those tiny parts right side out let alone stuff and assemble.

Re: Ring'a'Rosey
Ahh she is lovely Sue. I too am still pondering how to obtain better photos. I only have snapfire and don't know whether to get photoshop (I did buy cheap alternative) or buy a lightbox which I have noticed are on ebay for £99. Someone took a photo of one of my bears in his lightbox once and it made such a difference but I don't know if that was because his box was a real top quality one or whether he was just a better photographer that me Your photos are good anyway Sue

Re: Ring'a'Rosey
Hey Sue, I think a photobox is a great suggestion. I've made two so far, different sizes. And the beauty of it is I can collapse them and shove em in a closet.
The most expensive thing I purchased to do this was sticky velcro and I think the two boxes combined cost less than $10 US.

Re: Ring'a'Rosey
Ah girls bless you see I do have a light box and it has made a massive difference, my lighting is not quite right yet I think, I do rush it and they always look great when its a 3.5inch camera screen, you then load up and they look like thay have been playing rough and tumble, I suppose I am always rushing the shots, in between doing several other things and I must stop that
I not sure what it is about Paula's piccies they seem to have a magic about them, I know its the bears really but the piccies do shine/illuminate the bears as well, lighting position?
PS Maplin, Jean, do a light box at about £19.99 so http://www.maplin.co.uk/Search.aspx?menuno=13030
Well worth it, my big 17 inchers can't fit well but anything under 14 is great, really makes a difference and it packs flat
PS Rosey just sold

Re: Ring'a'Rosey
Hi, Firstly Sue, Congratulations on selling Rosey and thank you for the maplins link. It reminds me of a much better version of a light tent I bought a year or so ago. It was far too big for my bears - you can have it if you want . But I have to say I loved kathleen's link even more!! thank you Kathleen. Definitely going to have a go at that. ( I must make sure I don't spend a fortune on something just because it comes in a 12x12x12" box though ) Thanks again girls

Re: Ring'a'Rosey
Lovely bear Sue-love the autumn colours.
I leave hubby to the photography but he could never get on with a light box and just prefers to take photos outside or near a window. It has taken about 3 years to get the photos how I want them.It just takes a lot of practice and trial and error. He found that even the colour of background that you use makes a difference to how the bears colours come out.
